Pahl Shipley founded GPS Strategic Communications in 2018 and serves as President. He is a Communications and Public Relations pro whose career has included broadcast journalism, political communications, corporate communications, and consulting. Pahl spent 25 years in Television News, primarily in news management, including serving as news director of network affiliates in Texas and New Mexico. He then moved to politics, where he worked as communications director for then-New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. Pahl served in the same capacity for Richardson’s campaign for president during the 2007-2008 election cycle. He later joined PNM Resources, the parent company of PNM, New Mexico’s largest electric company, as director of corporate communications and brand management. Pahl has a passion for writing and editing, and for developing compelling messaging
that connects with stakeholders.
